To generate your keywords, please generate your category keywords first, and then generate your product keywords.

TIP: If you want to change the default values/options that these tools use, then edit the values in the following files:
byz_kwa_$config.asp, byz_kwa_$config_productsource.asp

Generate Product Keywords

For your information, there are currently 56 Products in your database.

To generate your keywords, check/change the values in the fields below and then press the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen.

Product Trial Run Mode?:

Do you want to run the product keyword generation in Trial Mode so that you can see the output but no changes are made to the database?

NOTE: This is disabled on the demo version. Running the generator on the demo version will only run in trial mode, it won't save the keywords to the database.

Max Products to Process:

Leave blank if processing all products. You can set this to a value such as "10" if you want to test the results of the KeyWord Tools before doing a full run.

Generated Keywords Products column name:

Choose the name of the products column that you want your final (generated) keywords to end up in. This would normally be set to "keywords".

Show Product Results?:

Do you want to show the results on the screen of each product that gets updated?

Use Categories?:

Do you want to use category keywords as part of the source for your product keywords?

Category Keywords column name:

Choose the name of the categories column that you want to use as the source of your category-level keywords when generating product keywords.
This would normally be set to "keywords_generated" but you can change it to use another column if you need to.
This will be ignored if you're not using Category Keywords for Products.

Show Category Results?:

Do you want to show the results on the screen of each category that gets processed during the product keyword generation?

Show Category Keywords Results?:

Do you want to show the category keywords on the screen of each category that gets processed during the product keyword generation?
This will be ignored if you're not showing category results for products or if you're not using category keywords for products.

Use Category Branches?:

For your category-level keywords that you want to use when generating your product keywords, do you want to use the category keywords of that category only (use unticked), or do you want to string-together all the branches' keywords and use that (use ticked) ?
This will be ignored if you're not using Category Keywords for Products.

Category Branch Order for Category Keywords:

Which way do you want the category keywords to be applied branch-wise for the source of your category-level keywords when generating your product keywords?
Do you want the keywords to be added going down the branch, or up through the branch?
ie do you want the top category levels to be at the front of the keywords ("Downwards") or do you want the bottom category levels to be at the front of the keywords ("Upwards") ?
This will be ignored if you're not using Category Branches, or if you're not using Category Keywords for Products.

Show Category Branch Keywords Results?:

Do you want to show the category branch keywords on the screen of each category that gets processed during the product keyword generation?
This will be ignored if you're not showing category results for products or if you're not using category keywords for products.

Product Keyword Sources:

You can source your product keywords from as many different product columns as you like, as well as using keywords which the tool derives from your categories data for you. To setup your source options, enter/choose your values below. Your product keywords will then be generated in the same order (from left-to-right) that you source them here (from top to bottom). You can use optional columns for these sources; if the corresponding value is blank in the database then the rest of the sources will still continue to work. For "DataType", choose from the poplist, where the values mean this: "[no source selected]" - This is when you don't want this source-record to be used (ie it's ignored during generation). "Keywords" - This is for columns that hold a list of comma-separated keywords. "Text (convert to keywords)" - This is for columns that hold general text (eg a product name), which might also contain some html tags within it, but where you want the keyword tool to use that value (with the html stripped-out for you automatically) as a keyword. For "ColumnName", use the name of the products columns that you're sourcing the value from. Special "ColumnNames" that you can use are: "catcalcwords" - This is what you'd use if you're using categories when generating your product keywords. The rules for how this value is derived is set according to your category-related options above. For "Show on Results?", set this to ticked if you want to show the value of this column on the products results display.

Please note that after you've submitted this form, it may take quite a while to generate the keywords. After submission, please be patient and wait for the "Keywords Generated" message before clicking on anything else on this browser window.
